Satellite mesh network routing in collaboration with SpaceChain. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149924 | Project: | B1011 - 201 | Abstract: | As the world continues to evolve, we have to find solutions to the new pressing questions it creates the evolving technology. This project is studying the possibilities of implementation of mesh like network routing communication among the LEO satellites from different organisations and manufacturers. For this, we have to first study how the satellites in the LEO orbit functions and communicate with each other. Prior to ISL if two satellites have to communicate, RF communication from satellite A to the ground station has to be established and then this would be uplink to satellite B via RF communication as well. However, nowadays ISL is a promising solution for satellites to communicate with each other but there are problems such as pointing accuracy and maintaining the link during movement are also to be taken into consideration. Hence, this project would be studying the nature of satellites in LEO and their communications. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149924 | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
