Abstract: An attitude determination and control system allow a satellite to orient in a required direction and perform critical operational and station maintenance tasks like payload operations, solar panel sun pointing, antenna pointing etc. Under this project, a prototype attitude determination system is to be made using sensors such as coarse and fine sun sensors, gyroscopes and magnetometers. A prototype system consisting of signal conditioning circuitry used for the sun sensors has to be implemented and characterized with a solar simulator and rotation table setup.
