Abstract: Transformer is a crucial component in the power system, failure of a transformer can cause power outage of the whole system network, hence it is crucial to make sure that the transformers are well maintained and fault free. Faults can occur anytime due to the harsh conditions that transformers are operating in. In any case of transformer fault, we must be able to diagnose and categorize faults accurately and provide the necessary solution as soon as possible. This paper focuses on the different methods of analysis for Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) and creating the models to diagnose and categorize faults using python.
