Therefore, time and space becomes the main reason affecting the “Chineseness”. As Diaspora and transnational movements become more developed, “Chineseness” in Malaysia has changed dramatically. On the other hand, Culture is a society practice in habits, races and non-systematical while weddings are an important process of enculturation for two families. So, we can examine the type of “Chineseness: and the identity of Chinese by analysing Chinese weddings.
