Abstract: Fluid power systems are essential in the operation of modern day machinery ranging from simple daily objects such as car hydraulic jacks to complex aerospace machinery applications. This study will be focused on how varying different parameters in a hydraulic system can alter its output characteristics. The parameters varied in this report will be mainly pipeline parameters such as length and diameter. The data collected will then be digitally analysed to generate plots and graphs. These plots and graph can be studied to understand how the output characteristics relate to the parameters varied.
