Abstract: The report focuses on the modelling and simulation of disbond defects within a multi-layered composite honeycomb sandwich structure. In order, to better understand the wave propagation and visualization of wave interaction at the defect interface, basic bulk wave and guided wave propagation models were validated and presented in this report. The details of the model and simulation are provided in detail and the signal processing work is done via MATLAB.
