Abstract: This study uses decision tree induction to investigate the relation between applicants’ characteristics and work and education background to the areas of specialization that the applications selected in the questionnaire. It identifies the relationship structure between these areas so that a pattern can be used to package the specializations based on their areas of interest of the applicants in which the specialization was selected.
