Abstract: In today's era, VR equipment and VR technology are advancing by leaps and bounds, bringing many virtual reality products such as VR games, VR videos and other forms of entertainment. As these entertainment methods gradually replace traditional entertainment, the demand for electronic devices is also increasing. At the same time, the development of LI-Fi communication also provides diversity for indoor wireless communication. During the epidemic, the general public lacked entertainment during the quarantine period, so I proposed a plan to make a self-made VR device and use Li-Fi communication. At the same time, it takes into account its playability and high cost performance, and adopts new communication methods to better adapt to the characteristics of the program. The whole system can be divided into two parts. First, in the HDMI part, Raspberry Pi4 is used as the core of the system, and the microcircuit assembled by Arduino and MPU6050 is used as an analog mouse for human-computer interaction. At the same time, VR games are displayed on FPV Goggles. Second, the Li-Fi communication part uses Lucibel's Li-Fi suite for communication transmission. In this project, the remote VR game data is streamed to the Raspberry Pi. Finally, the two parts are combined, and Steam Link is used to test the operation of the VR game. Finally, test and optimize the system code, systematically analyze and optimize each variable in the gyroscope; on the other hand, test the efficiency of Li-Fi communication components, and quantify the user experience to the data level. It can work well within the cone range of 0.8-1.5m and the angle is 0-45°. This project provides more possibilities for self-made VR, and at the same time makes exploration and discovery for the application field of Li-Fi communication.
