Based on ecological holism, Ecocinema explores the social roots of ecological crisis, including the relationship between human, animals, and nature. Based on Chinese environment and style, Chinese Ecocinema reflects an ecological film aesthetic with Chinese characteristics, highlighting the aesthetic state of ecological balance between man and nature, man, and society, and with man himself. With the enhancement of animal protection awareness, animals often appear as "characters" in movies to represent the intimate but complex relationships between humans and animals. “Pet movie” is a new film genre that comes out of the booming pet culture in China, showing the different relationships between people and pets. This paper will examine the relationships between man and natural life, emphasizing ecological integrity and egalitarianism, and its impact on Chinese pet culture through the narrative contents of films such as Adoring, Push and Shove and Einstein and Einstein.
