Abstract: Batteries have become increasingly prevalent in our everyday life, from phones to power grids. In the years to come, its performance and capacity will affect the decisions for technologies to be adopted and the operating costs of businesses. Non-Linear Voltammetry (NLV) aims to improve the performance of charging a Lithium-Ion battery, especially in its late stages safely. Conventional charging methods are controlled based on current controls, followed by voltage controls. In comparison, NLV is controlled based on voltage pulses, which adapts the charging rate based on the states of the battery. With the improvement of NLV, consumers will be able to reduce turnover time on hardware such as electric vehicles or power tools. This project focuses on improving the NLV Test Application, by refactoring and adding new features to the application, like remote connectivity and interoperability between peripherals.
