Issue Date: 2009
Abstract: This essay fleshes out the shifting power relations between the female and the male, in relation to films portraying a female nymphet who is involved in relationships with an older Humbert male. Through this, the stereotypical notion of the male dominant and female subservient will be constantly challenged, together with the ideology of sex as power.
