Abstract: Change is almost imminent in Singapore. With limited land space and a growing population, old buildings and places get redeveloped very frequently. So are our memories forgotten or altered with the change in environment? Or are the places being removed so rapidly that individual has totally no time to bond sentimentally with them? The project aims to be a memory bank where Singaporeans can upload and share their memories through the project website. Through the means of mobile Augmented Reality technology, audiences can review the collective memories from the nation through their mobile phones when they activate the proposed software: mobileARm in the designated “hot‐zone”.
