Q. (2022). 文图学视角下的TikTok分析 = TikTok under the scope of text and image studies. It is undeniable that TikTok has taken the whole world by storm. As of November 2nd, 2021, TikTok came first on the Apple App Store as the top free entertainment application, as well as the Google Play Store for the top grossed video players and editors. It is widely believed that its success is due to its powerful artificial intelligence that uses machine learning to churn out a unique feed for the individual user that keeps them hooked. However, its algorithm is only one of many reasons for its success. This essay will strive to prove its success under the scope of Text and Image Studies through the analysis of the user interface and user experience (UI/UX), as well as other visual and textual features present in the application. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/155716 | Schools: | School of Humanities | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
