Abstract: Population increase has led to high demand of assets. People are willing to occupy more real estates and transport vehicles. As such, the number of vehicles travelling on roads has also increased respectively. Looking for a parking space becomes a harder task especially during the peak hours and in crowded places. The drivers should avoid multi-tasking while driving on the road and fall into danger. The time taken to search for parking spots should be reduced as much as possible. In the wake of smart city, a smart parking management is required to save one’s precious time and safety. To resolve these issues, a cloud based mobile application is introduced to the users that can check availability and reserve parking slots in advance. The implementation of this project is to develop a parking system that replace the current old-fashioned system and improve effectiveness together with the integration of QR codes. The platform provides a chat feature to connect people within the community and earn extra cash from trading their parking slots.
