Abstract: In visual indoor positioning systems, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) is used to concurrently construct a model of the environment and estimate the mobile robot’s state within it. This project aims to perform ablation studies of SLAM modules and investigate the environmental challenges of SLAM based on simulation.
