Abstract: This project is about designing catalyst for clean fuel generation from CO2 reduction. This project aim to synthesize catalyst that can allow high selectivity and efficiency of CO2 reduction. This project focuses on the synthesis and characterization of two different catalyst, CuIn5S8 and CuInS2. The catalysts were synthesized through solvothermal reaction through autoclave and the catalysts were characterized using XRD, SEM, and EDX. For catalyst with good characterization result, it is further analyzed using CO2 Reduction Reaction analysis to further obtain its faradaic efficiency and partial current density.
