Title: Archetyp8 project.
Authors: Lee, Joy Wanying.
Keywords: DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Drawing, design and illustration
Issue Date: 2009
Abstract: The archetyp8 project is a range of illustrated consumer goods that portrays a conflation of two key Jungian theories: the 8-process personality type model, and the assignation of its archetype functions. This project fulfils two major objectives: 1) to act as a an indicator of how personality testing has ingrained a labeling instinct in the modern psyche, and 2) to act as a portal or trigger for consumers to become more interested and aware of Carl Jung and his ideas.
