dc.description.abstract | Weddings are one of the most important and exciting life events, but wedding planning could be a stressful and tiring experience for newly-engaged couples. Professional wedding planners will probably have everything nicely planned out, but many couples nowadays choose to DIY (Do-It-Yourself) so that they can have full control over every aspect from start to finish, or just to save cost. While there are plenty of decisions to be made – venue and guest list, flowers and cake, music, photography and many more – an application that keeps everything organized and constantly updated would make the process much easier. The aim of this project is to design and develop a wedding planning application that is close to real-life planning as much as possible. The web application displays a 3D environment of the wedding venue, which allows the user to take a virtual tour and rehearse the event flow. The user will be able to interact with objects in the scene to check the relevant planning progress. It will also support features commonly seen in planning applications, such as a budget plan and a calendar. | en_US |
