Abstract: The rapid development of power system has brought various challenges to the modern world such as cascading device failure. More specific attempts could be done to mitigate or prevent an individual asset from failing, which will in turn lead to multiple subsequent component failures across the whole power system. This final year project focuses on the frontend development of a device failure monitoring web application, OverC. The student developed a graphical user interface for the users to monitor and analyze status of various devices in a power system. This report will describe the activities conducted in software development lifecycle of OverC from 10th August 2021 to 25th March 2022.
