Abstract: The prevalence of cloud computing has brought about an abundance of tools for the evaluation and simulation of cloud environments. One of the more popular open source cloud simulation software is CloudSim Plus, known for its modern design philosophy and well documented codebase. The growing adoption of edge computing architecture has generated an increasing demand for more features in a cloud computing simulator. One particular feature is the support for simulating distributed consensus algorithms, which CloudSim Plus lacks. This project aims to integrate such feature into the CloudSim Plus framework.
