Abstract: Today, optical fiber can used to known for its data transmission. They are used in various applications such as Telecommunications, Internet, and Computer Networking. Optical fibers transmit data via light. However, when these optical fibers are designed to extract lighting instead of transmitting data, the optical fiber can be converted to an illuminating fiber for decorative purposes. This project aims to use such optical fiber to design and implement a captivating artistic application. It includes understanding of optical fibers, experimenting with the given illuminating fiber in different ways by creating different lighting textures, appearances, quality, and conceptualizing and implement an artistic presentation through expression using the illuminating optical fiber technology. It aims to corporate both the arts and technology to create an artistic design application.
