Abstract: This Final Year Project focuses on the design and development of a full-stack web application that allows users to perform offline audio transcription, live transcription through their microphones, and manage their past transcriptions by leveraging a suite of speech recognition APIs from NTU Speech Lab. With an emphasis on user-friendliness, existing products on the market were also studied to understand the technologies used, design approach, and price points as preparation for the development of this project. This report aims to walk through the lifecycle of the project: requirements analysis, user interface design, system design, implementation, testing and deployment of the project.
