Abstract: The Internet of Things is rapidly disrupting the existing systems/devices and transforming daily life. “Internet of Things” which is also known as IoT in short is make up from the words called “Internet” and “Things”. The Internet is a global framework of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to serve billions of clients globally.[1] People's expectations have changed a lot over time to effortlessly transform the traditional normal home into a smart home with the evolution of savvy services and the high technology. A smart home is not just collection of smart devices and appliances. Smart home system allows users to monitor and control remotely to the home equipment/device through the smartphones and/or web applications anywhere around the world using IoT technology. Smart home can accommodate user preferences for convenience.
