dc.description.abstract | Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) is a method of transferring electricity from the power source to the load without the need of electrical conducting media through electromagnetic conduction. With the advancement of WPT throughout the years, it has been widely used in many applications in the world today such as to power up implanted medical devices. With the micro sized implanted medical devices, it is hard to achieve a high-power transfer efficiency with a WPT system. Tissue safety is also a concern when dealing with high frequency from the WPT system. Therefore, in this project, a WPT system will be designed for an implanted medical device to resolve the issues mentioned above. | en_US |
