The smart contact lens can monitor the user’s physiological health through tears and cornea to obtain real-time data with non-invasive medical diagnostics. To power up the smart contact lens, it required a power system that is biocompatible to the body system. If not, it could lead to potential health issues such as blindness and damage to the eyes. To create the power system, it will require the fabrication of a soft lens, that is made of UV-polymerized hydrogel, CuHCFe, and PB that both act as cathode and anode respectively to allow the ion-transfer to take place, which eventually charge up the contact lens. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/157950 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
