As a result, people have picked up hobbies at an increasing rate, among which is gaming. Due to their casual nature, puzzle games are amongst the most popular genres and as such many different types of puzzle games exist today. Having said that, most puzzle games follow the standard logic of granting the players a few tools to see what methods the players can come up with to utilize them, but the converse where the player is granted many tools to see what kind of unique solutions they can come up with is much less common. Thus, this final year project explores that very concept through the means that is an alchemy-themed puzzle game. This report will cover the development of the aforementioned game through the usage of the Unity3D game engine and the rest of the game development cycle from ideation to the planning of the game mechanics right until implementation. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/158079 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
