Abstract: In this report, a transimpedance amplifier circuit is designed using wide bandwidth, low input noise voltage and high gain amplifier. The circuit is designed to convert low level current signal to voltage for use in the optical communication system. The circuit performance is analyzed using LTspice XVII and optimized through experiments. Following the optimized circuit, a PCB designed using Altium Designer and is fabricated and tested to compare between hardware and software results.
