Abstract: The most common reason to many drone accidents is due to electromagnetic interference. As drones are built compact-in-size to ease in portability for commercial use, many of its critical components are at risk of exposure to electromagnetic interference. The aim of this project is to evaluate drone’s critical components’ susceptibility to electromagnetic interference. This project will research and document the process of the Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing under various conditions. It will involve the use of CST Studio Suite for software testing as well as radiated emission test using the EMC lab semi- anechoic chamber.
