The advantages that IoT offers brought about one of its greatest applications – smart home systems. With smart home systems aiming to improve quality of life and bring about greater conveniences to its users, it is no wonder that it has been gaining popularity over the years. This project explores the design and implementation of a smart home system catering towards elderly’s home safety and quality of life by utilizing cost effective microprocessor Raspberry Pi Zero WH and other sensors and devices.
