Abstract: Horn antenna is one typical kind of antenna that has a wide use nowadays. Due to its unique structure and characteristic, it is usually designed to have a broad band and applied to a lot of applications. In this thesis, two specially designed broadband horn antennas are presented. One is a broadband horn antenna improved from basic model. It has an improved uniform back cavity and two curved horn walls. It owns a bandwidth of 1.5-45 GHz, which is 30-times frequency multiplication. It can obtain the highest gain of 14.7 dBi at 45 GHz with a Side Lobe Level (SLL) of less than -20 dB and a Front-to-Back Ratio (FTBR) of more than 30 dB. Additionally, the gain of the antenna is 10.3 dBi at 15 GHz and the antenna keeps the gain above 10 dBi from then on. Another is an integrated horn antenna. The antenna shows a bandwidth of 1-8 GHz, which is the extremity of simulation. For 1-8 GHz, the integration horn antenna owns high gain and good directivity.
