Abstract: The report discuss the effects of Triton X-100 on the decellularization of porcine oesophagi. Then the optimal concentration of Triton X-100 is identified after analysing via visual examination, histology study and DNA quantification. With the optimal concentration identified, the same experiment is done using SDS to determine which is a better surfactant for decellularization, Triton X-100 or SDS.
