Abstract: Planting flowers on a burial ground is a response to the sexual trauma the artist has experienced in her past. The artist places her body in a living, breathing and dying landscape, as a means of reconciliation with her mortality. Doing this, she tries to unlearn the things she has been taught of herself. This work is a desperate attempt to learn again, how to live.
