dc.description.abstractThis report aims to discuss the use of Demand Side Management (DSM) for smart buildings. Usage of the DSM requires the use of software to maximise output while managing the input during peak and off-peak hours. During the software testing, certain parameters were given to a control system and thus managed by the software algorithm to control systems such as Air conditioning, lighting, and ventilation system. Data collected will by the software will then be stored in a calendar where the administrator can access and gather data. This report will also discuss the challenges faced when designing the software. Lastly, this project is a partnership with Jurong Town Council (JTC).en_US
