Abstract: This dissertation report mainly analyzes the features of three typical modulation methods including OOK, FSK, and PSK. Corresponding transceiver models are built to simulate their transmission performances and test their power consumption. As a result, each modulation method has a good performance under some specific scenarios, such as OOK is the one with lowest power dissipation in the application of near-range wireless communication.
