Abstract: This report is a summary of the investigation done on the topic, “New Bending Stiffener Concept for Easy Installation in Flexible Riser of Offshore Floating Structures”. It focuses on the methodologies such as Integration and Elliptic Integral available in solving geometric and material nonlinear deflection of beam and how they can be adapted to be used in solving nonlinear deflection of bend stiffeners.
