Issue Date: 2000
Abstract: This research is concerned with the trends and issues surrounding the cataloguing of electronic journals. It studies the approaches taken by libraries worldwide to catalogue electronic journals using traditional tools and standards. Such attempts stem from a desire to include electronic journals within the OP AC, which is the primary access point for library users. However, being a dynamic and complex medium, they pose challenges not only for cataloguing but also for selection and acquisitions.
