Abstract: With the development of technology, Smart Grid (SG) has become a hot topic in the field of power systems, and the cyber and physical security of power systems is of vital importance to SG. To explore how to prevent cyber-physical attacks on power systems, this dissertation project gone through some research about cyber-physical attack and summarized the major types of threat and defensive techniques. Then, the Digital Twin (DT) of a simplified transmission system is established with Python, which is a power system simulation and could provide a real-time result of power flow.
