Abstract: Combined phacoemulsification and trabeculectomy is able to achieve greater reduction in intraocular pressure (IOP), higher rates of complete surgical success and fewer postoperative manipulations and visits compared with combined phacoemulsification and Xen implantation in glaucomatous eyes.
