Abstract: An efficient BF₃-promoted cyclization of α-amino acetals with alkynes for the assembly of substituted pyrroles has been developed. This cascade process uses easily accessible α-amino acetals as raw materials and can be achieved under mild conditions through a simple metal-free operation.
