Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/165875 | Project: | SCSE22-0468 | Abstract: | Renovation is an integral part of our lives that has gained high demand in recent times. People look for assistance from professionals to change the structure of their homes or workplace to meet their needs. However, while online renovation websites provide users with useful information to learn and plan for their renovation, they suffer from certain flaws such as vague filters and lack of selection of the renovation environment. The purpose of this project is to identify the useful features of online renovation websites and determine the appropriate tool to develop a user-friendly renovation website with a database backend established to store relevant data. In this report, we will review the features of popular renovation websites, evaluate popular website builders to understand their advantages and flaws in implementing the desired renovation website. We will also discuss various features of the website and recommend future extensions for future developers who will continue this project. By focusing on these key areas, we aim to create a website that not only meets the needs of users but also provides a seamless experience for them to plan and execute their renovation projects. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/165875 | Schools: | School of Computer Science and Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
