Political analytics-as-a-service pipeline

Abstract

This project details a Analytics-as-a-Service application for political events deployed on the cloud. The objective of this project is to create an easy-to-use application that generates insights on political events from Twitter. This application offers powerful analytics features using intuitive visualisations and Machine Learning models. The learning aims from this project are to develop a keen sense for system-design on the cloud, and gain exposure to the key technologies driving the cloud enterprise transformation in the market. I hope to use this Final Year Project as a catalyst for learning the necessary practical skills before I begin work in the industry after graduation.
