This final year project explores the intersection of artificial intelligence & art. As the field of AI art has grown, so has the understanding of the potential it holds for artists and computer scientists alike. AI art is an interdisciplinary field that combines creativity & technology, enabling new forms of artistic expression through the use of machine learning algorithms. While the focus of research in AI art has often been on developing new algorithms & models, there has been an increasing recognition of the importance of studying the artists who work with these tools. Through studying the work of artists who integrate AI models, we can better understand the creative potential of these machine learning & AI and how they can be used to expand artistic expression. The project will explore the current state of AI art, focusing on the technical concepts & algorithms used in the creation of AI-generated art, AI system that can create art from a natural language description, as well as the role of artists in the development of this field. Through an analysis of the technical aspects of AI art & the creative processes of artists, this paper will highlight the ways in which AI art can serve as a bridge between the fields of art & computer science.en_US
