Abstract: The objective of this report is to understand the mechanism of flame retardancy with the addition of fire retardant additives in PA6/CF composites. In addition to that, to further explore the options to retain or improve the mechanical properties of the PA6/CF composites. This report aims to be able better understand PA6/CF composites with enhanced mechanical properties and fire retardant properties with minimal flame retardant additives.
