This study aims to obtain more easily understood numbers and figures for the ease of the public in understanding the effectiveness of COVID-19 Vaccines against cases and hospitalisations. Using data from the United States CDC COVID Data Tracker, it was found through the observational analyses that an estimated threshold of 40% vaccination coverage would result in a drastic fall in the 7-day moving average of cases. It was also identified through statistical analysis that increases in vaccination coverage would correspond to a increase in averted COVID-19 cases and hospitalisations. However, much of these values should not be used as a policy target due to their nature as a policy outcome observation, and the exclusion of related variables from the dataset makes it difficult to disentangle the correlated variables to attribute causal relations.en_US
