Abstract: This project is basically being developed to provide aid to learners who are interested in learning the semiconductor fundamentals. Usually students find it quite difficult to understand the basics of “electronic and optical processes in semiconductors”. With the animation being designed, it will help the learners to “see” the processes of semiconductor devices. This assignment is focusing to solve the problem which the students face in understanding the semiconductor concepts. The scope of this assignment is creating a few animations of electronic and optical processes in semiconductor. Some of the processes were demonstrated like generation and recombination at thermal equilibrium, generation and recombination with optical illumination, scattering of a single hole, scattering of a single hole in the presence of electric field,scattering of multiple holes and scattering of multiple holes in the presence of electric field.
