Abstract: This report presents a novel approach to fabricating microrobots for sensing applications using 3D printing technology and magnetic guidance. The aim of this project was to develop a new technique for fabricating microrobots with high precision and accuracy, while also improving their ability to navigate through complex environments. The research objectives were achieved by first designing and modelling the microrobot using computer-aided design (CAD) software and then fabricating it using a 3D printer. Magnetic nanoparticles were then embedded into the microrobot to enable magnetic guidance. The microrobot was tested in various environments, including in vitro, and demonstrated high precision and accuracy in sensing and navigating through complex environments. This report highlights the potential applications of this technology in the field of drug delivery. The results of this study have the potential to advance the field of micro-robotics significantly and provide a new approach to the development of microrobots for sensing applications in terms of using hydrogel-based 3D printed magnetic guided micro-robots.
