Y. (2023). Human-machine interaction involving augmented reality and MATLAB. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/167406 | Abstract: | This report presents a study on the integrated use of machine learning and HoloLens 2 technology in the field of digital construction in Singapore. This project aims to investigate how machine learning can be utilised in conjunction with HoloLens 2 to improve construction processes and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety in construction sites. The project focuses on developing a model to make use of HoloLens 2 and MATLAB tools to take accurate measurements on sites, a critical component in the construction industry. The project methodology involves detailed studies of HoloLens 2, machine learning, as well as MATLAB to develop the required application that can be utilised on-site. MATLAB provides a comprehensive set of tools and functions based on machine learning, which are effectively used in this project. The results of this study could have significant implications for the construction industry, particularly in terms of reducing costs, boosting efficiency, and improving safety. By showcasing the potential benefits of using these advanced digital tools, this project hopes to contribute to the digital transformation of Singapore’s construction industry. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/167406 | Schools: | School of Civil and Environmental Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
