Abstract: The Metaverse is a rapidly growing concept that seamlessly integrates physical reality with digital virtuality to provide consumers with a highly immersive experience. This project, named NTUniverse, intends to create a Metaverse digital twin of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Smart Campus, harnessing the amazing capabilities of NVIDIA Omniverse to create captivating learning environments and streamline transportation and administrative activities. This NTUniverse project is organized around three major components: virtual digitization, virtual simulation and analysis, and virtual education. By integrating the NTU Smart Campus into the Metaverse, the NTUniverse project aims to not only improve the university's operations and provide students with unique educational experiences, but also to investigate the vast potential of Metaverse technology in shaping the future of digital interactions and communication. This paper mainly talks about the development of NTUniverse website which aims to let user know and explore the Metaverse technology. By taking advantage of state-of-the-art Omniverse technologies, the website delivers an unparalleled level of immersion, enabling users to experience sensory interactions with the virtual NTU Smart Campus. The dynamic virtual environment offers opportunities for users to explore, collaborate, and learn, transcending the limitations of traditional physical spaces. This is a first step toward achieving the enormous potential that exists at the convergence of digital twin technologies, web development, and the Metaverse.
