Abstract: Emerging and increasing usage of the transportation service demands a robust and reliable condition and maintenance works. The continuous load between the wheel-rail interactions might lead to defects and cracks in the railway infrastructure that may lead to train derailment and other disaster. A review and research on the current non-destructive test sensors (NDT) will be studied, to obtain a systematic detail of the working principles, functions, and limitations. A research will be worked on from three different point of view: existing NDT sensors, wireless network, and power supply.
