Abstract: The construction industry is a very important industry. With the development of technology, more and more companies try to use robots to assist workers in complex or difficult tasks in the construction industry. This project is developed based on a quality inspection and assessment robot ( QuicaBot ), combined with the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system to conveniently test building quality in different stages of building construction using extended working hours. The author's primary responsibility in the project involves adding 2D LiDAR and IMU components to the existing mobile base to complete navigation tasks, and base the known map information and target point data to plan navigation sequences and paths.
